Representing the more elegant, structured side of the Rennersistas lineup, this brilliant white blend showcases a refined, deeply focused expression of Burgenland terroir, all while retaining that signature Renner natural energy. A masterful blend of Chardonnay and Weissburgunder, the wine spends 21 months resting on its lees in 1.200l old Austrian oak casks. In the glass, it pours a beautiful yellow straw with a green sheen, slightly hazy just to let you know at first sight where it’s coming from. The nose is expressive and complex, opening with vibrant aromas of ripe juicy pear and bright citrus fruit, before revealing deeper layers of delicate white flowers, warm brioche and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, that patient barrel aging and waiting translates into a gorgeous, slightly creamy texture and a deeply savory core. It is highly finessed and mineral-driven, kept perfectly in balance by a refreshing, precise spine of acidity. The finish is long, clean and persistent, leaving an elegant, lingering aftertaste of salted almonds, crushed stone and a mouthwatering citrus tension.
